We at Mandometer AB (“Mando”, “we,” “us,” “our”) know that our users (“you”, “your”) care about how your personal information (“Personal Data”) is used and shared, and we take your privacy seriously. We will be transparent with you about the type of Personal Data we collect and provide clear information about how we use that Personal Data. We have taken proper measures to ensure that we follow all applicable data protection laws and regulations and we will co-operate with the authorities when needed.
This privacy notice (“Privacy Notice”) describes how Mando process your Personal Data in connection with you using the Mandometer Application (“Application”).

Personal data collected from you
When you download one of our apps, register an account and use our services and applications you are generally providing us with the following information:
- Your name, email address, age, user name, password, gender and other registration information
- Transaction-related information, such as when you make purchases or respond to offers
- Information about your eating behaviour and physical activity, as recorded by our software
- Information you provide us when you contact us for help
The purpose and legal grounds for our data processing
We process your Personal Data in order for us to offer our services and applications to you. The legal basis for our processing is that it is necessary for the performance of our contract. We will also, for scientific purposes, collect information about your eating behaviour in order to improve our treatments. The information collected for research purposes will however be anonymised and cannot be traced to you as an individual.
We will not process your Personal Data for marketing purposes, but we reserve the right to send you information about our products, such as updates or improvements. No Personal Data will be transferred to third parties.
Unless you provide us with your Personal Data, we will be unable to support your use of the product, since us knowing about you is a prerequisite for your treatment. We will therefore not grant you access to use of our software unless your Personal Data is provided.
Who are the recipients or categories of recipients of the Personal Data?
We will share your Personal Data within Mando for administrative purposes. We will also share your Personal Data with authorities, if necessary under law, and with service providers outside Mando in order to provide you with our services and applications.
For how long is your Personal Data stored?
We will process your Personal Data for as long as you use the Application or have an account or contract with us. We will keep information relating to your eating habits for clinical and research purposes on an aggregated level. Information being aggregated means that it cannot be linked to you as an individual.
Security
We treat the Personal Data entrusted to us in a safe manner. Protection is available against both intrusion and destruction of personal data, and we take ongoing technical and organizational measures to reduce the risks involved.
What are your rights?
As a data subject you have many rights regarding your Personal Data which is collected and stored. In summary, these include:
(i) the right to transparency and access with respect to the Personal Data that is stored and processed,
(ii) the right to corrections of any mistakes in the Personal Data and erasure in certain situations,
(iii) the right to restriction of processing in certain circumstances,
(iv) the right to object at any time to processing of Personal Data concerning you for direct marketing and in certain other situations, including processing that is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest and you have specific reasons to object to such processing.
(v) the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, as further described below,
(vi) the right to data portability, i.e. to receive Personal Data collected about you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and
(vii) the right to claim compensation for damages caused by our breach of any data protection legislation.
Complaints and supervisory authorities
A supervisory authority in each EU country shall monitor the processing of personal data as acted in the GDPR. As a data subject you are entitled to lodge a complaint to such supervisory authorities.
